- Client Company Problems: William’s startup faced challenges in developing and optimizing technical solutions for its unique needs, requiring efficient, adaptable, and high-quality software development under tight timelines.
- Aimtraction’s Role: Aimtraction was the key technical partner, responsible for developing custom tech solutions, implementing agile methodologies, and ensuring the project’s adaptability to market feedback and operational efficiency.
- Specific Tasks for Aimtraction: They focused on developing custom UI/UX and backend systems, integrating complex technologies like Angular and React, and providing strategic and technical advice.
Clinet’s story about our cooperation. The story:
My name is Wiiliam. I have been acquainted with and have collaborated with Aimtraction for 5 years now. I remember starting my company around the same time Lex (Director of Digital Transformation, Innovation and automation / Founder) started Aimtraction. Looking back, it didn’t seem strange to me that the Aimtraction.software team adapted so calmly and dynamically to changing requirements. The young team is winning new clients.
However, now that I work with Aimtraction intermittently, I haven’t seen better technical experts who are so skilled in working with XP methodology.
I would like to share a bit about the project. Since it is still in the startup stage, specifically in the seed investment phase, I can’t reveal details. But if you are also a startup entrepreneur, then you understand when a startup depends on feedback, the team must be ready to change functionality not incrementally, but immediately.
I have seen many programmers who can’t endure such an approach for long. Now that we are working with Aimtraction again, I realize that their approach hasn’t changed in 5 years; it has only matured and business processes have been established.
In Aimtraction, there is definitely a cyborg at work, as I can’t explain any other way the ability of Valentyn to intuitively and quickly, within the shortest deadlines, add practical and functional UI/UX and all the necessary backend, and also present it as if the next few million funding depends on his presentation.
When Aimtraction works as a small team, none of them waits for the others, consequently creating a functional, understandable interface that works autonomously. And as soon as the backend is ready, the frontend almost without changes begins to work with the server.
In Aimtraction, there is a simple rule: they do not create functionality twice. Whatever the functionality may be, they create either wrappers or services that encapsulate the logic related to the server, so that if needed, as few changes as possible are made.
I don’t think it makes sense to write about multi-tenancy, cross-synchronization of different platforms (web, Microsoft 360: PowerPoint / Excel), and other technical details.
In conclusion, it can be boldly stated that Aimtraction are predatory animals, whose prey is the success of the project. They will patiently wait for the opportunity to improve the process, they will imperceptibly take the initiative. When needed, even Lex (the founder of Aimtraction) joins the discussions (for free).
Since, apart from this startup, I have another company where I spend most of my time, thoughts, and deeds, I can confidently rely on Lex and his technical company Aimtraction. Lex is a reliable partner who, despite his desire to say everything he thinks about us (emotions often run high in XP), patiently and consistently consults us on process improvement, as we are already in the 4th month of development, and this is already the moment for creating documentation, and systematizing development: road map, CI/CD, complete standardization of development: Grooming, planning, retrospective, critical path, etc.
As the founder and ideologist of the startup, I received:
1) Development time is optimized to the extent that the backend can’t produce all the endpoints fast enough. Although there are only three programmers in the team: two frontend programmers: one on Angular technology for the frontend, another on React technology for writing integration plugins.
2) Aimtraction usually always focuses on the main thing, considering even a very large road map, Aimtraction experts will ask only a few key questions, and surprisingly these will be questions at the intersection of subsystems, the rest they definitely know that with the XP approach they will cope.
3) Aimtraction’s patience and professionalism gave me time to systematize and retrain people in my other business so that I could focus more on this startup. It’s nice when the team understands the current situation and understands what positive changes situational difficulties will bring.
4) We already have a very long waitlist and up to a dozen paid beta testers.
Steve Jobs was right, we hire smart people so they can tell us what to do. In other words, you either fully trust Aimtraction and they work miracles for you, or look for other vendors. With Aimtraction, you need to think out loud, because no one can develop your thought like they can.
